Visiting Researcher
I am a biomedical engineer from Japan. I received my BSc and MSc in engineering from Nagoya University, where I am pursuing a Ph.D. I am particularly interested in REM sleep behavior disorder (RBD) and its progression to neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and dementia with Lewy bodies. My research focuses on uncovering the mechanisms of these diseases through data science approaches.
I am currently working at the Mignot Lab as a Visiting Student Researcher, developing a deep learning model that automatically screens patients with RBD using PSG data. If successful, this research could not only reduce the burden on clinical practice but also provide new insights into the pathology of RBD from a data science perspective.
I am deeply passionate about research and committed to making impactful contributions to both medicine and engineering through collaboration with brilliant researchers.
