Research Engineer
I am an Engineer with an M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) with a focus on Advanced Signal Processing and Deep Learning in the intersection of sleep. Specifically I made a Sleep Apnea detection algorithm that uses computer-vision methods to detect objects of disturbed breathing in nocturnal polysomnography data. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD in a collaboration between DTU, Danish Center for Sleep Medicine and Stanford University where I will apply Deep Learning to gain a better understanding of Sleep Apnea. This includes searching for characteristics that relates to the outcomes of Sleep Apnea to ascertain the severity of the disease for individuals. In my spare time I like to climb, make (and eat) good food and whenever I get the chance travel.
